Three youths drown in well

Ujjain, MP, June 19 (UNI) Three youths drowned in a well at Najarpur village 15 km from here along the Ujjain-Kota interstate road, police said.

Ganesh Gujjar fell into the well after he went to irrigate a farm last night. When he failed to return home after long the, his father Durgashankar reached the farm and heard Gujjar's cries for help.

Durgashankar ran back to the village and called Harilal and Ramlal but the duo also fell into the well during the rescue effort.

The three youths were eventually brought out. Harilal and Ganesh were already dead while Ramlal died at the district hospital.
