Second suspect accused in fake currency notes surrenders

Akola, June 19 (UNI) Co-accused - Deepak Pahurkar in the counterfeit currency notes scandal surrendered to the police here yesterday.

However, the culprit denied his involvement whereas the main accused Sunil Ambhore has firmly asserted the involvement of Pahurkar, police said.

Ambhore will be in police custody till June 21 next as per the order of local magistrate. He was caught red handed while manufacturing fake currency notes by using the technique of scanning and printer at Rajeshwar Xerox in Jathar peth locality of the city on June 16, police said.
