Sahil Zaroo gets bail in Mahajan drugs case
New Delhi, Jun 19: A city court today granted bail to Sahil Zaroo, a Kashmiri youth arrested in connection with the Rahul Mahajan drugs abuse case.
Special Judge S N Gupta granted him bail on a personal bond of Rs two lakh and a surety of like amount and on condition that he would not leave Delhi.
Like Rahul, the son of the late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, he too was asked to surrender his passport.
Zaroo was arrested from Srinagar on June 4 and remanded to judicial custody on June 12. He was accused of having brought drugs to the June 1 party where Mr Mahajan's private secretary Bibek Moitra died and Rahul fell seriously ill.
