Railway officials trying to identify jawans

Hyderabad, June 19 (UNI) Taking up the assault of a Railway Protection Special Force constable by the jawans at the Secunderabad Railway station yesterday, the South Central Railway (SCR) officials are in the process of identifying them with the help of Army officials.

Talking to newspersons here today, SCR Chief Security Officer Kamal Kumar said the railway personnel were trying to zoom in the footage of the assualt from the recently-installed CCTV system. A copy of the footage had also been given to the Army officials, he added.

Stating that they have taken up the matter with the Army Andhra Sub-Area Administrative Officer Col Raju, he said the army officials have assured them of an inquiry into the entire episode.
