Jammu, June 19 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) today said the democratic aspirations of the people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) had been repressed after nomination papers of its candidates for the Assembly election were rejected.

JKLF had fielded 38 candidates for 41 seats of the PoK Legislative Assembly elections slated for July 11 .

Talking to UNI over phone, JKLF chief Amanullah Khan said, ''The logic and rationality does not allow us to believe that Pakistan had no involvement in the rejection of our candidates by the Election Commission in PoK. Every body knows that Pakistan government has a direct role in the affairs of PoK and it is an open secret.'' ''It was ridiculous to blame only PoK constitution for the rejection of our papers as it was drafted after an agreement between PoK and Pakistan governments, '' he added.
