Pattan observes bandh against a militant's death

Baramulla, June 19 : A complete bandh was today observed at Pattan, in this north Kashmir district, in protest against the death of a militant by security forces.

Shops and business establishments were closed and work in government offices was affected. most of the educational institutions also remained closed. However, traffic was near normal.

People also took to the streets in protest against the killing of a militant, allegedly in a fake encounter at Khoor last night.
