No threat to Karnataka coalition : BJP
New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) Downplaying the ongoing trouble among the coalition partners BJP and Janata Dal (Secular) on the controversial Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC), the BJP today asserted that there was no threat to the coalition.
BJP Spokesman Prakash Javadekar said senior party leader M Venkaiah Naidu was in Bangalore, coordinating the party's effort to iron out the differences on the proposed legislation to take over the execution of the BMIC to the government from the Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE) under private public partnership on the basis of Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT).
He said Mr Naidu would be talking to the media on the issue and his information was that no legislation is being brought (to take over the project).
