Monsoon likely by end of June in Uttaranchal.

Dehradun, Jun 19 (UNI) Monsoon is likely to hit Uttaranchal by the last week of June.

''The monsoon at coastal area is going through weak phase, thereby we are expecting full fledged monsoon by last week of June,'' Director, Meteorological Department, Anand Sharma''said.'' He however, added, ,''instances of rainfall could be expected from today due to western disturbance''.

Weather today remained cloudy most of the day and rain and thunderstorm is expected in few hours. Temperature remained at 33.5 degree Celsius.
