Militant killed in Doda

Jammu, June 19 (UNI) The security forces, in joint operation with Jammu and Kashmir police, gunned down one terrorist at Padri Dar area in Doda district today, official sources said here.

According to sources a joint search operation launched by security forces and police in Padri area were fired upon by militants. The security retaliated and in an ensuing encounter the terrorist identified as Ishrat Ali was killed.

Security forces recovered one SLR along with 02 magazine and 15 rounds from him. The body was later handed over to local police for post mortem.
