Mauritius, Tajik envoys present credentials

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) Mr Mookhesswar Choonee of Mauritius and Mr Salohoddin Nasriddinov of Tajikistan were among the seven envoys who presented their credentials to President A P J Abdul Kalam here today.

The other envoys were Mr Carlos Abad (Ecuador), Ms Genet Zewdie (Ethiopia), Mr Kemal Muftic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Mrs Irina A Orolbaeva (Kyrgistan) and Mr Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos (Dominican Republic).

The cremony was attended by senior members of the missions and officials of the External Affairs Ministry and Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Later, Dr Kalam had an interaction with the new heads of missions, asking them to work for joint ventures and programmes based on the core competencies of the respective nations and create a win-win situation.
