Lawyer found murdered in city

Chennai, June 19 (UNI) A 40-year-old city-based advocate was found murdered in suspicious circumstances at his residence in suburban Madhavaram early today.

Police said the victim, Arulnathan, who was working as a Manager of an NGO at Mogapair in the city, had gone to the terrace at his residence last night. His wife found her husband lying on the ground floor of their residence The body has been sent for a post-mortem.

According to police, robbery could be the reason behind the incident as around 30 soveriegns of gold ornaments were reportedly missing from the victim's residence.
