Jagson to operate Pondy-B'lore flight via Tirupati

Tirupati, June 19: Delhi-based Jagson Airlines would operate its 17-seater capacity flight from Pondicherry to Bangalore via Tirupati from today.

Talking to newspersons here last night the Airline Representative Victor said the flight will take off from Pondicherry at 0700 hrs and land in Tirupati at 0750 hrs. It will then take off at 0830 hrs from Tirupati and reach Bangalore at 0930 hrs.

While returning, it will take off from Bangalore at 0915 hrs and arrive in Tirupati at 1015 hrs. The flight will leave Tirupati at 11.20 hrs and land in Pondicherry at 1210 hrs.

However, the flight will not operate on Sunday for the last seven years, the company has been offering its aircarft services in North India and it was the first flight to operate its services to Shimla.

Mr Victor said the company was contemplating to introduce a Boeing aircraft and its operations would start from Chennai in September and cover all main cities in South India.

The company had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pondicherry Tourism, he added.
