Iran's Golmohammadi to miss last match

RAVENSBURG, Germany, June 19 (Reuters) Iran defender Yahya Golmohammadi will miss his team's last World Cup match against Angola and will be out for the next three to four weeks, the side's team doctor Sasa Jankovic said today.

''He will not play because of a problem with the shoulder,'' Jankovic told Reuters. ''He injured the ligaments in the last match.'' Golmohammadi, who has scored Iran's only goal in the finals so far, was booked for body-checking Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo in their 2-0 defeat and had to go off injured clutching his shoulder after the foul.

Iran stand no chance of qualifying for the second round after their two defeats against Mexico and Portugal but want to take one victory home from Germany.

They play their last Group D match against Angola in Leipzig on Wednesday.

Veteran striker Ali Daei was fit to play, Jankovic said. He was sidelined against Portugal after a back injury and came under fire for his performance in the 3-1 defeat to Mexico.

''He could play but I cannot say whether he will,'' Jankovic said. ''We will see tomorrow.'' REUTERS AY RK1741
