Godrej ties up with Refex to market HFC-based refrigerants

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) Godrej&Boyce Manufacturing Company today signed an agreement with Refex Refrigerants to market Refex's HFC based refrigerants.

Under the agreement, Godrej&Boyce will promote these refrigerant gases, under the Refrex brand name, through its service network and 780 dealers across the country, a company statement said.

''The tie-up presents a big opportunity for us in the refrigerator service and spare market. This market alone accounts for about eight per cent of refrigerant gas business in the country,'' Refrex Refrigerant Managing Director Anil Jain said.

Refex Refrigerants is a joint venture with Singapore-based Kaitech Engineering&Refrigeration Pte Ltd for refilling and marketing of refrigerant products in India.

The company has a refilling and storage facility at Thiruporur in Tamil Nadu.
