Friendly contests between Cong, TRS in 2 dists

Hyderabad, Jun 19 (UNI) Despite prolonged discussions, the Congress and the TRS could not arrive at an agreement on seat-sharing in Medak and Nalgonda districts.

Home Minister and Congress leader from Nalgonda K Jana Reddy told newsmen there would be 'friendly contests' between the two parties in these districts.

Mr Reddy took part in the discussions between the Congress and TRS leaders at PCC Chief K Keshava Rao's house in Banjara Hills.

Mr Reddy said though the party was open to seat adjustments, the local leadership was against it.

He said friendly contests had become inevitable in these two districts.
