Four-year-old's rapist remanded in police custody

Vadodara, June 19 (UNI) A local court today remanded a man, accused in the rape of a four-year-old girl, into police custody till June 22.

The accused, Kanhaiyalal Aggarwal allegedly raped the child in his shop.

The girl, who had gone to a provision store close to her Channi Jakatnaka residence to buy a milk pouch yesterday morning, was found by her father in a critical condition in the shop.

Angry residents of the locality ransacked the shop and handed over the Aggarwal, 24, to the Fatehgunj police after beating him.

Later, both were admitted to the SSG civil hospital for medical test.
