Dumka to achieve CDR national average by 2010

Dumka, Jun 19 (UNI) The District Review Committee and the district Advisory Committee of Dumka in Jharkhand has decided to achieve Credit Deposit Ratio equivalent to the national average by 2010.

The decision was taken in a review meeting held today in the district headquater. The meeting was attended by Furkan Ansari, MP from Godda, manager RBI from Patna, GM of district industry centre and convenor of different banks.

The committee also adviced the convenors of various banks present in the meeting to increase the flow of loans to the fishery, dairy projects and agriculture based industries in the current fiscal. The committee also expressed concern as the Central bank, Uco Bank, Bank of India and Central Cooperative bank did not achieve the target.

Mr. Ansari emphasised over quick disposal of loan applications under PMRY and other welfare schemes.
