DFID supports Orissa govt's move to computerise treasury operation

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) The Department for International Development (DFID), under the Orissa Public Sector Reform Programme II, will support the Government of Orissa (GoO) initiative for computerising the treasury operations across the state.

Under the initiative, hardware will be installed in all the treasuries and sub-treasuries for the implementation of application software. The sites are to be prepared (excluding civil works) prior to installation of hardware.

The DFID, responsible for the UK Government's development cooperation programme with India, has invited tenders from companies having a turnover of more than Rs 10 crore in each year, for the last three accounting years.

The tender will be responsible for preparing site for the Directorate of Treasuries and Inspection (DTI) office, 28 treasuries and 109 sub-treasuries.

The last date for submitting the tender is June 30.
