BSc Animation course to be introduced by KSOU

Mysore, June 19 (UNI) The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Toonskool Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, to introduce Bachelor of Science in Animation course from this academic year.

The agreement was signed between KSOU Registrar K R Sundar and Toonskool Managing Director Aswain Ajali in the presence of KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof K Sudha Rao here.

The three-year course included foundation art classical animation, production process, production techniques, digital tools and techniques and creative ideation and would be aided with art atmosphere and high tech 3-D labs.

Prof Rao said the varsity was also planning to introduce a three-year diploma course in animation for SSLC qualified students, while the present degree course was for plus two students.
