Birmi removed as Chief Parliamentary secretary

Chandigarh, June 19 (UNI) Punjab Chief Parliamentary Secretary Malkiat Singh Birmi has been removed from his post with immediate effect.

A notification was issued here today, an official spokesman said.

State Governor General(retd.) S F Rodrigues, on the advice of Chief Minister Admarinder Singh, relieved Mr Malkiat Singh Birmi of the charge of Chief Parliamentary Secretary with immediate effect, the spokesdman said.
