Allahabad Bank opens rep. office in China

Kolkata, Jun 19: Allahabad Bank today inaugurated its first overseas representative office in Shenzhen, China, today.

The Bank in a release here said its Chairman and Managing Director O N Singh inaugurated the office in the presence of dignitaries representing China Banking Regulatory Commission, Shenzhen Muncipal Government Trade Promotional Bureau and Foreign Trade Bureau.

Mr Singh said the rep office would act as a liason between the head office of the Bank and trade organisations and Banks in China to reap the gains of the growing Chinese economy.
