3 cyclists killed in accident

Lucknow, June 19 (UNI) Three cyclists including a couple, were killed and another man injured when a car hit them in Chinhat area of the Uttar Pradesh capital this evening.

The deceased were identified as Ramnaresh Rawat (40), his wife Mithilesh (35) and Devtadin (50).

Rakesh Kumar (40) sustained grievous injuries and was taken to hospital, police said.

The incident occurred near the TELCO unit.

The car driver left the vehicle and fled the scene.

A case had been registered.
