V C urges non-teaching staff to be committed

Visakhapatnam, Jun 18 (UNI) Andhra University Vice-Chancellor L Venugopala Reddy today urged the non-teaching employees to show maximum commitment in the discharge of duties.

After inaugurating a meeting of the office-bearers of All Universities Non-Teaching Employees Association here (AUNTEA), he reminded them to consider the financial position of universities before putting forth their demands.

Speaking on the occasion AUNTEA president P N Reddy appealed to the universities to give weightage to non-teaching staff with Ph D in filling the vacancies of teachers.
