Two militants killed, another apprehended in J

Srinagar, June 18 (UNI) Security forces killed two militants and apprehended another during three separate incidents across Jammu and Kashmir since last evening, an official spokesman said today.

In an encounter at village Banday Balla in north Kashmir's Baramulla district early today, security forces shot dead a militant, Abdul Rashid Pandit, and seized an AK rifle, two magazines, two hand grenades, one cell phone with six SIM cards, one head phone, one charger and four rounds.

Security forces also shot dead a Hizbul Mujahideen ultra, Ishrat Ali, alias Adnan, during a search operation at village Padri top in Doda district of Jammu region.

One Self Loading Rifle, two magazines and 15 rounds were seized from the encounter site, the spokesman said.

A Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen ultras was apprehanded by the security forces along with an AK rifle and a hand grenade at Machil sector in the frontier district of Kupwra last evening.
