Two killed, one critically injured in Polish rally
WARSAW, June 18 (Reuters) Two people were killed today and a third suffered serious injuries, when a car went out of control at a rally in southwestern Poland, police said.
''A young man and woman died on the spot and a third woman is in hospital in serious condition after being struck by a rally car which failed to negotiate a bend and left the track,'' Robert Harhala, police spokesman in the town of Strzelin, told Reuters by telephone.
''The driver and his navigator were not injured but are in a state of shock following the crash.'' It would be premature to speculate as to the exact cause of the tragedy until a proper inquiry is completed, the spokesman added.
