TDP alleges Congress for misusing power

Hyderabad, Jun 18 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP) today alleged the ruling Congress was indulging in large-scale misuse of power and violating the election code to win the Local Body polls.

Talking to newspersons here, party senior leader T Devender Goud alleged that the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was blackmailing his party MLAs and cabinet colleagues that only those who ensured the victory of party candidates, would be accommodated in the Cabinet.

Mr Goud alleged though his party had submitted several petitions about the irregularities to the State Election Commission, no action was taken so far.
