Partly cloudy sky keeps temperature down in capital

New Delhi, June 18 (UNI) Partly cloudy sky continued to keep the mercury below normal levels in the capital today and providing some relief to Delhiites from the heat.

Though the maximum temperature rose to 37.6 degrees Celsius, from 34.4 degrees Celsius yesterday, it was still two degrees below normal.

The minimum temperature rose to 23.2, six degrees below normal.

The Weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky with possiblity of thunder or rain accompanied by squall.

Yesterday, rainfall and thundershowers had brought down the mercury by nearly five degrees to 34.4 degrees Celsius.
