Paintsil celebrates Ghana goals with Israeli flag
COLOGNE, June 17 (Reuters) Defender John Paintsil celebrated the two goals in Ghana's 2-0 World Cup win over Czech Republic today by taking out a small Israeli flag from his sock and waving it above his head.
Paintsil, who plays for Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv, waved the flag after goals by Asamoah Gyan in the second minute and Sulley Muntari in the 82nd.
After celebrating each goal, the 25-year-old put the flag back in his sock.
