Jazeera Airways starts Delhi, Mumbai flights from July 1

Dubai, Jun 18 (UNI) Jazeera Airways will start direct flights from Kuwait to New Delhi and Mumbai, from July 1 with fares starting from KD10 (Rs 1,580) one-way excluding taxes.

The airline's expansion into the Indian subcontinent follows the addition of brand new aircraft to its Airbus A320 fleet, which are scheduled to arrive later this month and in early July.

The two new Indian routes take Jazeera's total number of destinations up to 10, in a record time.

Jazeera Airways Chairman and CEO Marwan Boodai said, ''We have crossed a major milestone in the development of Jazeera Airways with our expansion into India.'' The New Delhi flights will depart from Kuwait every Monday and Thursday at 2155 hrs and arrive in Delhi at 0430 hrs the next day.

The return flight will leave New Delhi every Tuesday and Friday at 0520 hrs and arrive in Kuwait at 0705 hrs.

The Mumbai flights will leave Kuwait every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2250 hrs and arrive in Mumbai at 0030 hrs the next day.

The return flights will leave Mumbai on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 0615 hrs and arrive in Kuwait at 0800 hrs.
