Governor S M Krishna receives Emir of Kuwait

Mumbai, June 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna today met the visiting Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Sahyadri State Guest House in south Mumbai.

According to a press release issued by the Raj Bhavan here matters of bilateral interests between India and Kuwait were discussed at the meeting which lasted for 20 minutes. The Governor later hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting dignitary and the accompanying delegation.

Unanimously proclaimed as Emir of Kuwait on January 30, 2006, Sheikh Sabah was the Prime Minister since 2003.
