French vote to elect representatives

Pondicherry, June 18 (UNI) As many as 5210 French voters exercised their franchise in the elections to elect two representatives to the assembly for French citizens residing abroad.

The elections began at 1000 hours at the French Consulate here and a good number of voters turned up to exercise their franchise.

French citizens residing in the union territory of Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are eligible to vote to elect the two representatives.
