Driver dies of electrocution, container touches high tension wire

Jamnagar, June 18 (UNI) The driver of a container died on the spot after being struck by a high tension electricity wire near Nagedi village on the Jamnagar-Dwarka Highway, about 10 km from here.

A road diversion sign was put up, but the driver Rajivkumar Krishna Singh apparently did not see the sign and the container touched the 11 kV high tension wire.

The driver was declared brought dead to the hospital here late last night as a case was registered here this afternoon.
