Constable assaulted by Army jawans

Hyderabad, Jun 18 (UNI) A railway police constable was assaulted by suspected army jawans following a dispute near Secunderabad Railway station today.

Railway sources said, the incident occurred when the constable Govind Raju objected to an army jawan parking his vehicle in front of the Secunderabad railway station.

The jawan took objection to this and picked up an argument with the constable. Soon jawan's colleagues joined the quarell and assaulted him.

Later, the jawans fled the scene.

The railway authorities had lodged a complaint with the Gopalpuram Police, sources added.
