Auto drivers to organise dharna on Jun 21

Hyderabad, Jun 18 (UNI) The Auto Drivers Struggle Committee would organise a mass dharna in the city on June 21 demanding the Centre to rollback the recent fuel price hike.

Convenor of the Committee Mohd Amanulla Khan in a statement today said the committee demanded that the government must withdraw the proposals to introduce digital fare meters and green tax.

It also urged the government to ban illegal vans used to transport school children.

He urged the government to release the report of the Road Transport Authority Committee. It had been constituted to examine the auto drivers demands for permitting eight to ten children in school autos.
