AP to abide by Krishna Tribunal's final decision
Bangalore, June 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh will abide by the final award of the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal on sharing excess water in river Krishna, Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy asserted today.
In a chat with newspersons here, he said the interim order of the tribunal was in favour of Andhra Pradesh and the State would go ahead with completing the ongoing irrigation projects. An early and permanent solution was needed to share water between the riparian States, he added.
Dr Reddy was here to participate in the valedictory function of the 26th Federation Cup Kabaddi Championship for Men and Women.
