Zaragoza take Argentina's D'Alessandro on loan
MADRID, June 17: Real Zaragoza have taken Argentine midfielder Andres D'Alessandro on loan from VfL Wolfsburg for next season, the Primera Liga club said today.
Zaragoza have an option to buy him at the end of the loan period.
The 25-year-old joined Wolfsburg from River Plate for million in July 2003 and won an Olympic gold medal with Argentina in Athens in 2004.
In January he joined Portsmouth on loan until the end of last season.
Although Zaragoza reached the King's Cup final, losing to Espanyol, they finished only 11th in the Primera Liga.
Earlier this month they appointed former coach Victor Fernandez to take charge of the team for next season.
