Unknown assailant kills youth in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 17 (UNI) An unknown assailant allegedly killed a 27-year-old-youth by attacking him with a sharp weapon at his residence in N-4 cidco locality here early this morning.

The Mukundwadi police station sources said the deceased's father, in a complaint, has stated that an unknown person entered the house forcibly and attacked his son, when he tried to prevent his entry at about 0430 hrs.

The deceased, identified as Nitin Shrikant Ubale (27), was a student of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), and was pursuing his PhD, the sources said A case has been registered by them under section 302 of Indian Penal Code and further investigations are on, the sources added.
