Tripura receives record rainfall

Agartala, Jun 17 (UNI) With a total rainfall of 1169 mm till today, Tripura received record rainfall this year in comparision to the last 15 years.

The Agrometeorological Advisory Service of ICAR at Lembucherra reported that the total rainfall during the current month was 373.4 mm, out of which 214.8 mm of rain was received during the last seven days.

The advisory service has also reported that weather will remain partly cloudy and isolated rain may continue till June 19. Day and night temperature may rmain unchanged with the maximum temperature ranging between 31 and 32 degree.

The minimum temperature will remain in the vicinity of 26 to 27 degree.

The farmers are advised to complete the sowing of their crops as early as possible.
