Traders Associations urge Centre to ban online trading
Chennai, Jun 17 (UNI) The Federation of Traders Associations Tamil Nadu will organise a one-day seminar here on June 20, to urge the Centre to ban the online future and options commodity trading system.
Mr T Vellyaian and Mr K Mohan President and General Secretary of the federation told newsmen here today that the present online system created artificial scarcity of commodities and price hike which burdened both the traders and the public.
They said the representatives of about 20 traders associations were expected to attend the seminar.
They alleged that the online trade was merely a gambling and the mainreason for the price hike.
Realising this, China had recently banned the online trading, they added.
They said a joint action committee was constituted to take follow up measures after the seminar.
