SSA provides Aksharabbyas to children

Rajahmundry,June 17(UNI) More than 52,000 children were given Aksharabbyas in East Godavari district yesterday, according to Sarva Siksha Abhiyan(SSA) Additional Project Coordinator, D N Murthy.

Talking to UNI here, Mr Murthy said 194 child labourers were admitted in the schools.

Rajahmundry MLA R Suryaprakas Rao said the State is having 66 per cent literacy now, and once 100 per cent is achieved, all round development would take place automatically.
