Senior journalist passes away, Mulayam condoles death

Lucknow, June 17 (UNI) Senior journalist Onkarnath Patel died after a prolonged illness at his residence in Faizabad district today.

He was 55.

Mr Patel was sufferring from a kidney ailment for the last one year. He was associated with prominent Hindi daily of Faizabad, Janmorcha.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav condoled his death.

In his message, the CM observed Mr Patel was not only a journalist, but contributed immensely to social, cultural, political and educational spheres.
