Rs 25,000 robbed from gurudwara Rakabganj office
New Delhi, June 17 (UNI) Robbers decamped with Rs 25,000 from the office of Gurudwara Rakabganj here this afternoon after breaking an office almirah.
The steel almirah, kept in one of the office rooms at the gurudwara, was broken open and Rs 25,000 stolen, according to a gurudwara official.
While Rs 12,000 was in currency notes, the rest was in coins There was nobody in the office premises today as it was declared a 'holiday'. Yesterday work had continued till late night due to various functions to mark Guru Arjun Dev's 400th martydom day.
The robbery was notice this evening after which the police was informed.
A case has been registered at Parliament Street police station and a manhunt launched to nab the culprits.
