Osmania docs to celebrate 'World Zoonosis Day'
Hyderabad, Jun 17 (UNI) Osmania Medical College Doctors' Forum (OMCDF) will celebrate the 'World Zoonosis Day' here on July six.
In a statement here, Forum President K Suresh said this year's celebrations assumed much significance as India was declared Rinderpest Disease-free nation.
While Zoonosis was a disease transmitted from animals to man.
Rinderpest, a fatal viral disease, attacked domestic cattle and sheep.
He appealed to doctors and students from both medical and veterinary fields to present papers on Zoonosis.
