On-line admission to technical institutes

Chandigarh, June 17 : The Haryana Technical Education department has taken a lead in the country by introducing 'On-line Off campus' counseling for admission to all post-graduate, under graduate and diploma level courses under the preview of the department for the session 2006-07.

A spokesman of the department yesterday said that the software for 'On-line Off campus' counseling would be launched by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister M L Tayal here on June 18.

He said the software for this project was assigned to National Informatics Centre, Department of Information Technology, Union Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. The registration of the candidates for the counseling would commence from June 18. UNI
