Nursing home, guest house employees entitled to bonus

Kanpur, June 17 (UNI) Employees of nursing homes and guest houses in Uttar Pradesh are now entitled to bonus.

Similarly, commercial training centres, clinics, coaching centres and schools have also been included in the bonus purview, if they have 10 or more employees on rolls.

UP labour commissioner Sharda Prasad said here a 15-day campaign went under way yesterday for strict implementation of the new rules in this regard.

''Directives have been issued to regional labour officials to take strict action against those not complying with the rules,'' he informed.

Establishments the concerned have to reply to the show-cause notices within 20 days.
