Nokia 6708 smartphone launched
New Delhi, June 17 (UNI) Nokia, the leading mobile handset-maker, today launched its first stylus input device Nokia 6708 for business in India.
The pen-based touch-screen user interface of Nokia 6708 allows users to write in simplified English text and conveniently access the phone's feature. It is designed to meet the growing demand for the pen-based touch-screen smartphones with handwriting recognition capabilities, Nokia Country Manager Chakrapani G K said at the launch ceremony.
''The smartphone market is one of the fastest growing segments.
Nokia is well poised to take a leadership position in this segment as we have a diverse product portfolio that combines cutting edge functionalities of a smartphone with features that enhance work-life balance,'' he said.
