Nepal sends official to Kashmir for details on murdered Nepalese

Kathmandu, June 17 (UNI) The Nepalese government has sent the counsellor at the Nepalese Embassy in New Delhi to Srinagar to find out the details of the murder of four Nepalese in the trouble-torn state.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Mr Deepak Shrestha, the embassy official, will also collect the ashes and photographs of the deceased from the police authorities concerned in Jammu and Kashmir.

He will also meet four other Nepalese, who were injured in the shooting, according to a release issued by the Ministry.

The Nepalese government has also condemned the gruesome killing of eight Nepalese migrant workers by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir on June 12.

''The heinous murder of innocent workers cannot be justified on any ground,'' the statement reads.

The government has also expressed deep condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and has wished for a prompt recovery of the injured.
