NDFB cadre arrested in Meghalaya

Shillong, Jun 17 (UNI) A suspected National Democratic Front of Bodoland cadre Dutul Daimari was arrested by Meghalaya police from Polo Bazar.

Police said, Daimari was caught red-handed by the police when he was threatening to kill a tea shop owner at Polo Bazar. Police seized a country made pistol from his possession.

The NDFB militant, now in police custody, said the weapon was given to him by one of his colleagues for self defence.
