Naga Hoho concern over prevailing situation in Nagaland
Kohima, Jun 17 (UNI) The Naga Hoho, the apex tribal body of Nagas, expressed concern over the threats and intimidations prevalent along with intermittent inter-factional clashes, at a meeting held yesterday.
The Naga Hoho Executive Council was taking stock of the issues and events concerning the Naga society.
As far as the political aspirations of the people are concerned, the Naga Hoho expressed confidence that " the people would not succumb to the designs of destructive elements, but further boost the ongoing political talks and peace negotiation, by re-enforcing all potential resources towards creating an atmosphere of trust and solidarity", Naga Hoho General Secretary Neingulo Krome in a release said here today.
The Hoho has also called for its Emergency Federal Assembly on June 27 where the report of the Naga Hoho Search Committee and the ongoing peace process would be deliberated, he said.
