Monsoon sets in

Kolkata, Jun 17 (UNI) With monsoon setting in the Met office predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and thundershower in the evening.

However, there was little respite for the people of Kolkata today as maximum temperature hovered around 34.6 degree centigrade and minimum temperature around 23.8 degree centigrade.

A relative humidity of 95 per cent made life even more unbearable for the people.
